Each month, The West Ohio Conference joins together in praying for the ministries, mission projects, and missionaries of The United Methodist Church. In January, we pray for the people of Mexico and the ministries of health and wholeness supported by volunteers from West Ohio. For over 20 years, West Ohio has been sending medical teams to Mexico. Summer sounds like a great idea these days. Camp registration is open as of January 2 to get your choice(s) of camps. An early registration also allows the family to set-up a monthly payment plan to stretch out the cost. Financial assistance is also available and can work alongside a payment plan. A Just Resolution in the judicial complaint against Rev. Donald “Bud” Heckman has been reached. Effective December 23, 2019, Heckman was “retired under complaint.”  He is no longer under appointment nor allowed to conduct sacerdotal functions and will perform no ministerial activities in the name of The United Methodist Church.  As a result of the Just Resolution, there will be no church trial. Early this morning, an outbreak of at least five tornadoes was reported across three states – Tennessee, Kentucky and Missouri – with the worst destruction occurring in Nashville, TN, and the surrounding counties.
