I was born in Burlington, Iowa, and grew up in Southwest Licking County, where my father (the late Rev. W. Jing Chow) was serving three UM Churches.
Upon graduation from Archbold High School, I attended Ohio Northern University (B.A. Speech-Theatre) and Asbury Theological Seminary (M. Div). I was Ordained Elder of the West Ohio Annual Conference in June 1989.
Prior to serving at Zanesville Grace, I served in Urbana Associate, (Springfield District), Vaughnsville (Defiance District), Oxford Associate (Wilmington), Woodville (Toledo), Assistant to the District Superintendent (Toledo), Newark First Associate (Capitol Area South) and Assistant to the District Superintendent (Capitol Area South).
I am married to Nancy (29 years), and together, we have four daughters and one grandson: Jayme and Chas; Jenn, Brett, and Henry; Deborah and Brady and Molly. A retired Registered Nurse, Nancy is a cancer survivor. In June 2006, she received a bone marrow transplant as part of her treatment for acute leukemia. Thanks be to God, she is healed.
