Rev. Mark Chow, Superintendent
Welcome to our website! Located in beautiful hill country of Appalachian Ohio, the Foothills District of the United Methodist Church is comprised of 160 congregations throughout Athens, Fairfield, Gallia, Hocking, Meigs, Morgan, Muskingum, Perry, Washington, and Vinton counties. During any given week our members are engaged in ministry and mission to make God’s love real in their communities and the world beyond. We desire to provide radical hospitality, inspiring worship, intentional faith development, risk taking mission and ministry, and extravagant generosity as we make new disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
