Certified Lay Speakers | Section 8 Lay Speakers | Instructions and Requirements | Committee Information

Fall dates for Lay Speaking classes have been set:

The BASIC class for persons just entering into Lay Speaking will be held October 14-15.

There will be a BASIC Refresher class for Local Church Lay Speakers who have not taken a class in the past 3 years. That will be held October 15.

There will be two Advanced Lay Speaking courses offered - a Small Group class and Worship class on October 15. Advanced classes are for those Certified speakers who need recertification or for Local Church Lay Speakers who wish to become Certified for the first time.


All classes will be held at Immanuel UMC in Logan, Ohio.
