The Foothills District of the United Methodist Church values the children of Southeast Ohio and beyond. In many of our local churches we offer Sunday School classes, after school opportunities and other special events geared to children. We want them to experience the love of Christ in a safe and secure environment. In addition, we offer ministries to children who struggle and who are in need of more structured environments where loving adults care for their needs. We also have created numerous camping experiences at both of our camps located in Logan and Rio Grande.  If you have any questions about any of the opportunities that have been mentioned please call the District office (1-888-868-1225) and ask for Brent Watson. The purpose of this page is to provide our children’s ministry leaders with needed resources and seminars that will enhance their effectiveness. We want to support your efforts and to help network you with others. Our goal is to reach every child with the good news of Christ and to help them grow in their faith. We know that leadership is essential to accomplish that goal!
