Asbury Camp and Retreat Center is located approximately 10 minutes from Rio Grande and the 300 acres of wooded, rolling and rugged terrain is typical of Gallia County. The landscape is host to numerous hiking trails and an abundance of trees, plants, wildlife as well as a lake. There are two lodges with kitchen facilities, an outdoor chapel, three picnic shelters and areas for recreation. It is operated and maintained by the Foothills and Shawnee Valley Districts of the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Camp Otterbein is a place to retreat, rest, rejuvenate and refocus. Otterbein is located outside of Logan in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. It is situated on 450 acres that contain wooded hills, walking trails, 3.5 acre lake, a teambuilding and high ropes course, archery range, recreation fields, 4 campfire areas, 4 picnic shelters and an outdoor worship setting. There are two small retreat lodges that include a meeting space and bathroom facilities in each building as well as 7 cabins with 2 modern shower houses. Guests share meals prepared in the Albright Lodge.
